My profession is teaching (self contained) grades 1-6 since 2000. I am degreed and licensed to teach/tutor in the State of Texas. In addition; I am ESL certified, by earning my TESOL (120 additional hours). After many years of classroom teaching, mentoring new teachers and serving on Teachers Union Board; I have decided to venture into the business of teaching (all ages) on an elementary reading/math/science level.

Experience

I began my love for teaching in 1994, where I was a Teacher’s Aide. After working under great teachers I applied to TSU to earn my Bachelor and Master in education and counseling. During my years of teaching, I advanced my studies in Science Specialist, SDMC Rep, Union Rep, Teacher Leader, Counselor and Grade Level Chairperson (2022).

Education

My most relevant education was achieving my Masters Degree in Counselor Education and my TESOL.
