I am a certified ELA educator and curriculum specialist with over six years of experience in classroom instruction, educational content development, and writing support across multiple domains. I design standards-aligned, interdisciplinary curriculum for secondary education with a focus on English language arts, creative writing, and genocide and human rights studies. My instructional materials are both academically rigorous and emotionally resonant, supporting educators in delivering meaningful, equity-centered learning experiences.

Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on Creative Writing from the University of Missouri, which I completed in May 2012. Currently, I am enrolled in the final semester of my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, concentrating on Holocaust & Genocide Studies, at Gratz College. I am set to graduate in July 2025.
In addition to my degrees, I hold a certification as a SBEC Classroom Educator for English Language Arts, grades 7-12, and I am a CRLA Master Level III Tutor. I am also a member of the International Association of Genocide Scholars and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
