Phineas Lerner

I am currently a high school student at Poudre High School. I am a very curious person, and thus love learning new things. At the moment I am very passionate about astrophysics, however I also love art and making music. I value living in the moment, and enjoying life to its fullest. I have extensive experience traveling and experiencing new cultures. I have always done very well in school. 

I have little experience in payed jobs. However I have an extensive history of volunteering, and am a very enthusiastic worker.

YEAR ABROAD IN ZÜRICH, SWITZERLAND (4TH GRADE), 2014 - 2015 • Attended a local Swiss school • Learned a new language, which taught me the art of perseverance • Made new friends, developed social skills. • Gained appreciation for new cultures. 

YEAR ABROAD IN ENGLAND (10TH GRADE), 2020 - 2021 • Attended Norwich Cathedral School, which is viewed as among the top schools in the British eduction system • Learned to row crew, qualified for Nationals, and placed 7th in the UK in a time trial • Engaged in multiple new activities, including the Cathedral choir, graphic design, and UK sea scouts. 

EXTENSIVE TRAVEL LEARNING NEW CULTURES • Lived for several months in several additional countries, including Israel, Japan, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, Norway, Spain. Have traveled and camped in Jordan and Morocco. I love experiencing new cultures in an authentic manner. 

LANDSCAPER/HANDYMAN — 2022 (JULY - AUGUST) • Helped with maintenance on grandmother’s rental houses in Bend, Oregon. Included painting, landscaping, etc.
