About Phillip Barnes:
I’m a pre licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT number pending) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, APCC #21923, with a calm, steady presence and a direct, human approach to care. I support adults and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity stress, and major life transitions. My style blends evidence based practice with cultural humility, practical skill building, and accountability that helps clients move from insight to action.
I am comfortable in higher acuity and community mental health settings, including documentation, treatment planning, crisis response, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. I also facilitate groups and value work that strengthens belonging, meaning, and long term stability, not just symptom management.
I am open to part time or full time roles, in person, remote, or hybrid. I bring consistency, emotional precision, and deep respect for the lived realities clients carry into the room.
