Olivia Pincus

Hello! I’m Olivia Pincus, a recent graduate from American University with a BA in Film & Media Arts and a minor in Graphic and Visual Communication Design. My journey in the visual arts is characterized by a deep-seated passion for storytelling and visual communication, whether through moving images or stunning graphics.

From a young age, I was captivated by the power of visual media to convey complex emotions and narratives. This fascination led me to pursue film studies, where I honed my skills in directing, editing, and cinematography. Complementing this, my graphic design minor allowed me to explore the intricacies of visual design, from typography to digital layout, enriching my ability to create compelling visual stories.

Throughout my academic career, I've been involved in numerous short film projects, in a variety of roles. Most recently, I completed my senior capstone film, “Burger Monday”, a short comedy.

I'm excited to bring my diverse skill set to the professional world, where I aim to contribute to innovative and inspiring projects. I'm particularly interested in opportunities where film and graphic design intersect, creating immersive experiences that captivate and engage audiences.
