About not u:
I have lived on Oahu for almost 20 years on the Waianae coast. In addidtion I have been a substitute teacher in the Leeward District for the last 4 years. I enjoy interacting with the general public and am pleased to serve the local communities in a positive manner. Working the public satisfies my drive to help my neighbors and community. I can effectively communicate with Locals in an effective manner that tends to their needs. I respect the Hawaiian community immensly and I enjoy the environment that surrounds us. I appreciate the community of Hawaii and want to provide a reliable service of kindness and make folks happy in my interactions with them. Being able to serve this community and employ my skillsets would be very personally satisfying.
Experience
I studied synthetic organometallic chemistry in the University with Professsor Bakthan
Singaram. I was also tutored by Professor George Olah, USC.
There, at UCSC, I achieved Graduate level results as an undergraduate, with a publication. I
was able to study Insect Management and Organic Certification during this period.
In the late 1990s I relocated to Santa Barbara with my family. It was there I learned the Art of
Surfboard Fabrication. For the next 20 years I designed boards in Santa Cruz and Makaha as
well as Oregon again, learning the art of Wooden Surfboard Fabrication. On Oahu, my designs
were able to produce podium winning results in a variety of contests. Notably the Makahiki
contest in Makaha.
It was in Makaha where I created some very reliable designs with a modern Surf skate feel.
These boards were able to duplicate the tricks that skateboarding was king of on the land.
Due to Covid and economic contraction I returned to Academia as an Instructor. I am able to
interact and instruct a variety of subjects. I also, because of experience, have the ability and
patience to interact with special education and can adapt to new situations and challenges.
Presently I am back in Agriculture doing specialist avocado propagation. Management of this
project includes maintenance of a unique specimen, Insect management, notably Avocado Lace
Bug, selection of samples to be grafted and cloned, as well as all scheduled supplies needed
and financial management of the project. Currently this genetic proliferation project,
approximately 2000 trees will take 2 years to accomplish. My methods are cost effective and
peerless. One tree yields approximately 12k in profit, of AAA quality Avocados. The variety is
unique and highly sought after by upscale food establishments in Hawaii.
