Nick Wojcik

Hi!  My name is Nicholas Wojcik!  I am a former test administrator and proctor for Pearson Professional Centers located in Getzville, NY.  I love learning.  I just graduated from SUNY Niagara.  I have a Masters degree in Psychology, and I am looking to further my potential in test taking and proctoring.  I worked for Pearson Professional Centers for almost 4 years (3 years and 9 months).  I left my job to further my skill set.  I am dependable, hardworking, extroverted, and have a student centered approach to learning and test taking.    

I have been working at Pearson Professional Centers from August 31st, 2021 to May 23rd, 2025.  I was later able to train other co-workers who were new to the job.  Problem solving skills were key in this test taking environment, because computers would go down, fire drills would happen (very rare), test takers would no show.  Some test takers had to forfeit their exam due to excessive anxiety and tremors.  I am very able to work as part of a team, and I am very comfortable in a team environment.  I feel comfortable because I have a solid foundation in presenting research, studying, and talking about research, and projected research for further exploration and discovery.   

I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo (North Campus).  I also have a masters degree in Psychology from Medaille University.  The reason why I decided to go for my masters degree at Medaille was because their masters psychology program could be finished in one academic year, instead of two years at the University at Buffalo.  I took classes including statistics for the social sciences, foundations for scientific methodology (Research Methods), Social Psychology, Psychology Across the Lifespan, Physiological Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, History and Systems of Psychology.  The Graduate coursework in Psychology at the University at Buffalo included Biological Bases of Behavior (Fall 2021), Psychopathology, Psycholinguistics (Cognitive Psychology Discipline), and Cognitive Neuroscience Methods (Cognitive Psychology Discipline) in the Spring 2022.
