Etta Cavin

Of all the jobs I have had throughout the years, vascular access has been my favorite. I am married and have 2 grown daughters. I live near Mt Cheaha and love the beautiful countryside here. I like riding my bike around the winding roads or just relaxing on my back patio watching the birds fly about. I am looking for a job close to home doing what I love best so I can stay in Alabama.

I started placing PICCs in 2002 with no ultrasound. Over the years, the new technology has greatly improved this placement. I have use Bard Ultrasound with 3G technology and now have started using Sonosite. Over the past 20 years I gave had severjobs in nursing but keep coming back to vascular access.  

I has an associates decree in nursing. I have completed and am certified in PICC and midline placement. I have BLS and ACLS certification.
