Salesman turned Software Engineer!

I'm a software engineer who recently graduated from Flatiron School. I discovered an intrigue for coding at a previous job and made the decision to pursue a career in software engineering.

During my time at the bootcamp, I gained experience in various programming languages and tools, such as JavaScript, React, Ruby, and Rails. I also worked on several group projects and developed skills in problem-solving, debugging, and collaborating with others.

Prior to the bootcamp, I worked in sales for 2 years, where I developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I also gained experience in customer service and problem-solving, which I now apply to my work as a software engineer.

With my passion for coding and newfound technical skills, I am excited to pursue a career in software engineering and make a meaningful impact in the industry.

My experience in sales has given me a unique perspective on how to understand and meet the needs of users. I have learned to effectively communicate with potential clients, build value through research, and adapt my outreach strategies based on response analytics. These skills will be invaluable in working with tech companies to develop products that meet the needs of their users and maximize their experiences.

I was a software engineering student at Flatiron school in NYC where I learned javascript, react, ruby on rails, and SQL programming.
