I specialize in helping organizations reduce risk, meet compliance standards, and respond effectively to workplace incidents. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve led investigations, designed safety programs, and delivered strategic guidance across corrections, construction, healthcare, and institutional sectors. As Managing Director of Paravel Risk Management—formerly EPI Investigations—I’ve worked with SMBs and enterprise clients nationwide to build scalable, audit-ready solutions.

My experience includes negotiating down “Severe” OSHA citations, reducing workers’ compensation claims by 66%, and managing multi-site risk programs across four states. I’ve conducted covert surveillance in fraud cases, supported criminal defense teams, and trained staff in threat mitigation and active shooter preparedness. I also develop branded safety resources, review legal documents, and translate complex findings into clear, actionable protocols.

While I completed two years of formal study in theology, philosophy, and psychology at Crossroads College, the foundation of my professional expertise has been built through rigorous self-directed learning and real-world application. I’ve developed advanced competencies in risk management, compliance, and investigative strategy by researching, designing, and executing complex programs across more than 25 U.S. states.

At CBM Managed Services, I was tasked with creating entirely new operational frameworks—such as secure workforce housing in North Dakota and Texas—where no internal expertise existed. I also led high-stakes correctional service projects, including operations at Cook County Jail, one of the largest correctional facilities in the country. When I launched my investigative agency in 2013, I deepened my methodology by consulting with the former director of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, adapting federal investigative principles to the private sector.

My education has been experiential, adaptive, and outcome-driven—equipping me with the equivalent of a professional degree in applied risk strategy, operational design, and investigative leadership.
