Efficient and experienced high school social studies teacher with 11 years of experience teaching a range of subjects, including AP US History, American Studies, and Psychology. Proven expertise in classroom management, curriculum development, and instructional design. Skilled in teaching online and remote settings. Possesses a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of the Arts in History.

I have been a social studies teacher for eleven years. For the first five years of my career I taught middle school social studies, primarily specializing in seventh grade. For the most recent six years, high school history has been my focus. Teaching AP US History for four years was my crowning achievement and most rewarding aspect of being an educator. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have also been a class advisor, golf coach, and a ski club advisor. These extracurriculars allowed for me to create well-rounded relationships with my students and also promote a better culture in the school community. This is an essential aspect of education that I will always be an active participant in.

I received a B.A. in History in May of 2012 from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst. In August of 2020, I received a M.A. in Secondary Education.
