My Lay Vong

My name is My Lay Vong. I'm 20 years old and currently pursuing Healthcare Management degree at University of Texas at Dallas. I can speak both Vietnamese and English fluently. I have over three years of experience in management and customer services roles. I'm excited to exploring and learning how healthcare system work to support patient outcomes at Parkland Health.

I been working on business industry as assistant manager for over three years. Through that position, I enhance communication skill with client and provided the best services for them. Furthermore, I had developed strong leadership skill though working with administrative and technician's teams. This background in customer service has taught plenty of valuable lessons for me to be able to manage multiple tasks at once and deliver high-quality service. These experiences are crucial potential for me to get prepare to contribute effectively to healthcare management environment to bring health to everyone.

I'm currently and junior pursuing Healthcare Management degree at University of Texas at Dallas. As part of my studies on campus, I also participating to a new project with CareYaya upcoming this month to enhance affordability and accessibility through innovative technology solutions. This will make virtual conversation with patients effectively, especially with elderly. This experience will strengthen my knowledge of how AI and technology can significantly enhance healthcare operations.
