Morgan Gibbs

Hello! My name is Morgan Gibbs, and I am currently a senior at Clark Atlanta University, pursuing a degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Radio, Television, and Film. I am passionate about storytelling through visual media and aspire to build a career as a cinematographer in the film industry.

My experience includes producing and contributing to student-led short films, as well as shooting music videos that allow me to continually refine my skills in both videography and photography. I thrive in collaborative environments and pride myself on being a natural leader who brings strong motivation, creativity, and dedication to every project I undertake.

I am deeply committed to personal and professional growth, always seeking opportunities to learn new techniques and expand my creative abilities. My goal is to continue evolving as a visual artist while making meaningful contributions to the media and entertainment industry.

I currently serve as a Service and Engagement Team Lead at Target, where I’ve spent the past two years developing strong leadership and communication skills in a managerial role for the past nine months. In addition to my corporate experience, I freelance through my independent media brand, MSG Media, specializing in filmmaking, videography, and photography.

I wrote and directed my debut short film, Far From Love, which garnered over 3,000 views on YouTube. I’ve also contributed to various film projects in diverse roles, including Assistant Director for Psalm 62, Cinematographer for Baldwin, and Actress in Fifteen-Minute Break.

As a student at Clark Atlanta University, I’ve pursued a degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Radio, Television, and Film. Through this program, I’ve also completed courses with the Georgia Film Academy, gaining hands-on industry training. My coursework includes specialized classes such as Cinematography, Video Directing and Producing, Screenwriting, and Philosophy and Ethics of Mass Communications—each contributing to my technical skills and creative development in the media field.
