Misty Mason

I have been doing Healthcare Improvement for the past five years. I am interested in Clinical Documentation for auditing part-time to get more experience with project improvement. I will be done with another master's degree in Healthcare Leadership in May, 2026. I have my PhD in Education as well as a master's in speech therapy and educational technology. I am working on my green belt for Lean Six Sigma. I am a self starter, disciplined, very good with time management and have experience with Excel, Word, and Visio. If I am a good fit for your company, I would consider full time employment.  

I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 30 years and spearheaded a fall prevention program for my rehab center and fell in love with process improvement. This has sparked interest in a new field of Quality Improvement with project improvement. I have experience with chart auditing, gathering data with raw data, generating slide deck, run charts/histograms/pareto charts, etc. I am familiar with visual mapping and Project Charter/FMEA's. I work well with others in senior leadership and deep diving data for process improvement. 

I am obtaining my master's in healthcare leadership from the University of Wyoming and will be completed May, 2026. I currently have a 4.0.
