As a special education teacher, I have the ability to create and manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to define learning objectives and education strategies. I apply instructional knowledge and methods to support scholar’s goals, while cultivating connections and strong student rapport to foster successful classroom management. Monitoring the progress of the assigned students on my caseload, offering proactive support and outreach to the students and their families. I am able to modify general education curriculum for the special-needs students using evidence-based techniques and adaptive technologies. I have utilized positive behavior support (PBS) strategies within the classroom and implement clear and consistent behavior management systems that align to campus wide initiatives while developing student achievement. Help shape and grow a school wide culture that fosters productive and enthusiastic learning environment for each scholar.
