Micah Spencer

As a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with five years of experience in a large multispecialty group practice, I have dedicated my career to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. My clinical expertise spans wound care, diabetic limb preservation, and complex foot and ankle surgery, with a particular professional passion for restorative and reconstructive procedures as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques. These approaches allow me to help patients regain function and mobility while minimizing recovery time and long-term complications — a priority that reflects my belief in thoughtful, outcomes-focused care.

Practicing in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment has deeply shaped my approach to medicine. I regularly work alongside vascular specialists, infectious disease physicians, wound care teams, and rehabilitation providers to manage patients with complex comorbidities and high-risk lower extremity conditions. This has reinforced the importance of holistic treatment planning and communication, both with colleagues and with the patients and families we serve.

Outside of the operating room and clinic, I’m a father of four energetic boys, and much of my personal life is spent outdoors with them — hiking, fishing, and exploring the woods. I also enjoy woodworking and archery, hobbies that require precision, patience, and creativity — values I bring into my surgical practice as well. These interests ground me, challenge me, and constantly remind me of the importance of function, balance, and resilience — both in life and in the care I provide to others.

As I continue to grow professionally, I remain committed to advancing surgical innovation, supporting multidisciplinary care models, and helping patients return to the activities they value most.
