Micah Andrea Mens

My name is Micah Andrea Mens. I am a student at Southern Methodist University studying Biology on the premed track. I am originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have been deeply interested in studying science and the human body. I obtained my license before matriculating into college and have accumulated over a year of hands-on experience working as a retail pharmacy technician. My academic, clinical, and research experiences have deeply furthered my interest in pharmacy.

I have over a year of experience working as a pharmacy technician in retail for Walmart. I enjoy working in fast-paced environments that challenge daily. I love being part of a collaborative team in which we work together to make a positive impact within society. 

I graduated from Mansfield Timberview Highschool in 2023 and attended Collin College which is a community college located in McKinney Texas. At Collin College I took all the necessary pre-reqs toward my degree in  Biology. Currently, I am a rising junior at Southern Methodist University completing my degree in Biology with a minor in Sociology on the pre-med track.
