Mercedes Jones

I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hiram College in 2018. I later went on to complete my Master’s in Social Work at Case Western Reserve University, in 2019 with a concentration in Mental Health. Since 2017, I have worked across a wide range of settings in the mental health field, including child protective services, juvenile facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, adult day programs, and school settings. I have also collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with diverse needs.

My experience includes working with children as young as five, adults, and older adults. I have supported individuals facing trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have also provided extra support to individuals with developmental disabilities. I have provided therapeutic services in individual, family, and group settings. 

I am highly organized, an effective communicator, a strong team player, and always eager to continue learning. I am very passionate about my career, not only to make a difference, but to offer support, understanding, and advocacy for the individuals and communities I serve.

I have a liberal arts bachelor's degree in Sociology. I also have my master's degree in Social Work with a concentration of mental health.
