Melanie Payne

I am a motivated healthcare professional with 10 years of comprehensive experience with a diverse background in emergency, critical care, and cardiac telemetry nursing. As an experienced nurse, I believe it is essential to grow, and open yourself up to new opportunities to expand your knowledge. 

On my time off, I love to go to Hot Yoga or Hot pilates, getting out of house to go hiking or even just to try a new place to have a cup of joe. 

As a qualified registered nurse in the states of California and Arizona, I have accomplished several years of experience in critical care, emergency department (ED) and cardiac-telemetry nursing. I have built a solid foundation in managing and providing patients with detailed and personalized attention by critically thinking quickly in high-stress environments while effectively and regularly monitoring patient’s hemodynamics, administering medication, and collaborating with doctors and the entire interdisciplinary team to create customized treatment regimens for a variety of patient conditions, including psychiatric.  

I went to nursing school at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California.  Graduated December 2014 with my ASN.  A year later, September 2015, I was accepted into an accelerated BSN program at California State University, Bakersfield, graduating with my BSN in December, 2016.
