About Mel McDaniel:

I have been a CSTR trauma registrar at a Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Center for just over 4 years. Prior to that I worked in the ED for just over 25 years. 

Experience

I've worked at a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center for 29 years. 25 of that in the ED then transferred to our Trauma Department where I got my CSTR certification after just 10 months of working in trauma.

CSTR 04.19.21, Attended the TQIP Conference in Denver, CO 11.12.24, Certificate for Patient Registry State and Hospital Data Submissions 12.14.23, TETAF Hospital Data Management 06.22, AIS 2015 Course July 19-22, 2022, ATS Data Management 03.28.23
