I am a highly skilled cardiac surgeon with extensive expertise in cardiothoracic procedures, academic contributions, and medical education. As a foreign medical graduate, I completed advanced training at Tehran Heart Center and currently serve as a faculty member at UCLA. I have been recognized for my excellence in the field, including being honored as the "Best Physician of the Year" at Tehran Heart Center. Additionally, I served as the Chief of Cardiac Surgery for over a decade and held the position of Vice President of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons (ISCS) for more than seven years, demonstrating my leadership and commitment to advancing the field of cardiac surgery.

I am  a distinguished cardiac surgeon with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic contributions.I have performed over 13,500 open heart surgery in my professional career and pioneered advanced procedures such as the first hybrid aortic arch repair and "Frozen Elephant Trunk" operations in Iran. I  served as the Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Tehran Heart Center and later at Jam and Iranmehr Hospitals for nearly two decades. My leadership roles include Vice President of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons and editorial positions in prominent cardiovascular journals. Currently, he contributes to cutting-edge research and clinical practice as a faculty in UCLA's Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. My work is complemented by a robust teaching portfolio and significant achievements in medical education development.

My education is highly relevant to a cardiac surgery position. I earned his Medical Doctor degree and completed a General Surgery residency at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, followed by a Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.(All as the first rank in country) I further enhanced my expertise through specialized postgraduate training, including advanced courses in adult cardiac surgery (Texas heart center, Houston, USA), mitral valve repair (Germany), off-pump coronary artery bypass (Belgium), aortic valve repair (Belgium), endovascular aortic repair (Turkey), sutureless aortic valve implantation (Mayo Clinic, Abu Dhabi) and cardiac transplantation and MCS at UCLA. These advanced trainings reflect my comprehensive preparation for the most complex aspects of cardiac surgery.
