Prior to coming to get my masters in counselor education at Penn State University, I worked as a substance abuse counselor at Wilmington Treatment Center for a year. I learned skills such as crisis intervention, building rapport with and counseling patients and teaching classes on topics such as boundaries, communication, coping skills, and more.

I am currently finishing my second year of my masters in counselor education at Penn State, I will graduate in May 2025.
