A cross functional engineer and creative problem solver, I am passionate about translating clinical needs into effective product designs with a strong track record of supporting the development of FDA class I-III medical devices from early product definition to product launch. 

With 3+ years experience supporting the development of FDA class I-III medical devices, I have a strong track record of collaborating with diverse R&D teams to create effective designs that meet clinical needs. 

Most recently, at Abbott Heart Failure, I've had the opportunity to carry user needs throughout the development life cycle to assure our products effectively met customer requirements for disposable, Implant, Capital equipment, and SaMD products. Some of my responsibilities have included market research, product scoping, user need definition, system architecture design, product requirements definition, usability engineering, characterization testing, verification and validation testing, and supporting regulatory interactions. 

At Weavr Health, I acted as a product development engineer supporting the development of a novel at home COVID antibody test. I translated clinical needs into product design. 

I hold a bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from the university of Delaware
