Megan Jeffries

A Master's graduate in Forensic Biology from Thomas Jefferson University, with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University. I possess a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between science and law, coupled with the skill to utilize forensic methods for analyzing and deciphering biological evidence to aid investigations, legal proceedings, and research. Performed graduate research to assess the effects of personal lubricants on seminal fluid immunoassays. Worked in the lab for the entirety of my graduate degree, developing and expanding laboratory expertise. Laboratory experience included DNA extraction, quantification, amplification, and capillary electrophoresis. As well as serological techniques such as lateral flow immunoassays. Ran mock casework samples independently from evidence examination through DNA profiling and testifying in MOOT court. 

I currently work as a district-wide substitute teacher in the North Penn School District. I have previously worked as a waitress and sales associate. 

My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science from Kutztown University. I recently completed my Master of Science in Forensic Biology from Thomas Jefferson University.
