About Matthew Black:
I’m a Man that has been in the vendor business since I was 17. Customer Service, Sales (because I have to make sure these accounts don’t run out of Tissue before we make it back), build trust with my customers that if I bring in a little too much I want order on top of any back stock that I have, and I give them my own cell # that way if they want to order something specific or special I will make a note and and it to the truck before I leave the warehouse. Lastly, communication in this type of work is imperative, the more the management sees you or talks to you the more in their heads you have been by. I’ve been a salesman for 22 years and a delivery salesman for 10 years. I have a real ease at talking to these managers that are running around to get their jobs done when I’m there. I always guarantee everything I deliver. I’m just really passionate about growing business witching my territory and making my clients happy.
Experience
I worked as a vendor for Kraft/Nabisco for 5 years.
I was a Territory Manager of 25 big box stores while managing a full timer and a part time who worked for me. I also ordered all product, sales in displays, and finished in the top 10 out of 80 TM’s every year including 1st 3 times.
I owned my own business for 5 years where I built a route of 40 C-Stores up to over 600 within 3-4 years and made 5 routes out of it and sold them off one by one.
one of my last jobs was a Territory Manager with MCT Enterprises delivering product to Restaurants over a parts of a 4-State territory.
Education
I graduated from Furman University with a Bachelors Degree of Liberal Arts in Business Administratio.
