About Mishal Retnasami-Kennedy:
Passionate student of geopolitics who spent most of my life traveling the world and living abroad. Circumnavigated the world and have visited 30+ countries. I am passionate about all things related to national security and business, and I'm a bit of a philosophy nerd.
Spent the majority of my working years in product research and development, policy analysis, and digital marketing. I've also handled online and print media, and I am semi-competent at doing tech-related tasks (tiny bit of HTML and the like!) Also an avid student of Muay Thai.
Experience
Although I have primarily worked for one major company, I believe I attained many important skills. At AIA, my key job functions included:
- Working under the CMO to help modernize AIA’s online and social media presence and expand market reach.
- Assisting the CFO with increasing revenue generation and expanding AIA’s presence in the local education market.
- Managing ongoing web development and SEO/social media efforts via third party agencies contracted by AIA, including oversight of 17 team members spanning in-house, outsourced, and contract employees/workers.
- Liaising with local advertising (Alliance Media) to oversee traditional media (print/radio/billboard) campaigns.
- Key job functions include analyzing metrics related to web traffic/social media/print media/radio engagement and developing baselines for the ongoing comparative evaluation of prospective business expansion and market development strategies.

B.A in “International Relations” (3.91/4.0 GPA) with "Magna cum Laude" honors.
