My experiences:

Director of Partnerships and National Director of Outreach: I am highly skilled at building partnerships and relationships in the community through outreach, recruiting, and marketing. I help young adults and families achieve their path to success.

Director/Coordinator of Student Accessibility Services: 
I trained staff and faculty on ADA, UDL, and reasonable accommodations. In addition to this, I managed a caseload of students with disabilities, provided reasonable accommodations based on ADA, Section 504/508 for online and campus students. I created policies and procedures for departments and worked collaboratively on campus wide initiatives and projects in creating awareness around diversity, equity, and inclusion.

K-12:
Also, I am highly skilled working in K-12 public schools and collaborating on systemic changes in urban districts. My qualifications are in supporting staff and teachers with: IEP writing, problem solving, data collection, UDL, MTSS, IDEA, differentiating instruction, and collaborating with stakeholders/administrators in preparing our students to be college and career ready with 21st Century skills.

Currently, I am an itinerant special education teacher (cross categorical) working with home hospital students in Aurora Public Schools. My caseload consists of students with significant support needs, TBI, medical day treatment, and students waiting for outside residential placements.
