My name is Maria Joyas I am currently pursing my bachelors in Earth Science at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Pursuing a Certificate of achievement in Environmental Technology Field Technician at Rio Hondo College.

Logistics Student Assistant:

• Grouped and routed deliveries according to designated areas to maintain efficient delivery times 
• Adhered to all safety policies while driving, loading and unloading, and working in the warehouse environment 
• Managed necessary paperwork associated with deliveries including invoices, manifests 
•  Communicated effectively with customers regarding order status or any other questions they may have had 
•  Operated computer systems for data entry purposes related to receiving functions; maintained accurate records of material received into the warehouse system.

Fabrication Technician:

• Verified product quality by checking products for accuracy and completing necessary adjustments 
• Repaired or replaced defective parts according to specifications using hand tools and power tools 
• Assisted in developing plans for future projects that would increase efficiency within the department 
• Worked with 3D printers, CNC machines, and Laser Cutters 
• Troubleshooting software compatibility issues between printers and computer systems.
