About Maria Bouzarelos Kopta:

I am a nursing student at Chamberlain University and set to graduate December 2022. I am passionate about working with women and children and providing the best possible care for my patients.

Experience

I began my healthcare experience as a Resident Assistant at Lombard Place Assisted Living in February 2020. I obtained my CNA certificate and began working at a Patient Care Tech on a Mother-Baby Unit at Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center in November 2021. 

Education

I obtained a degree in Biology from Lake Forest College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2019. After I began working in healthcare, I realized I was passionate about patient care and decided to go back to school to pursue nursing. I began my nursing school journey at Chamberlain University in August 2020. I will be graduating in December 2022.
