Marcus Flannigan

My name is Marcus Flannigan, born and raised in Arizona and part of a family of athletes. Though I resisted it at first, track and field became the sport that changed my life, earning me a full-ride scholarship to Grand Canyon University. I competed in sprints and long jump, becoming a six-time Western Athletic Conference champion and setting a university record.

After college, I earned a master’s in criminal justice and worked in security and later as a probation officer, but I struggled to find fulfillment. I transitioned into real estate, eventually going full-time, and discovered how to use my athletic background to succeed in business.

Today, I run my own real estate business and co-founded a coaching platform to help current and former athletes become successful agents, using the mindset and discipline we learned through sports to build lasting legacies.

I’m a dedicated and versatile professional with a strong foundation in criminal justice, public safety, and real estate. Since becoming a licensed real estate agent in 2019, I’ve helped a wide range of clients buy and sell residential and investment properties, negotiating deals, creating effective marketing campaigns, and offering guidance on market trends and tax-efficient strategies to maximize returns. My background also includes serving as an Adult Probation Officer for Maricopa County, where I managed a diverse caseload, conducted home visits, and developed individualized rehabilitation plans to support successful reintegration. Prior to that, I worked in campus safety at Grand Canyon University, where I responded to emergencies, enforced campus regulations, and provided community support—experiences that sharpened my problem-solving and communication skills. I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminal justice, and I’m also a certified drone operator, using aerial technology to enhance my real estate services.

I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in law enforcement from Grand Canyon University in 2017 and Master’s degree with an emphasis in law enforcement in 2018. During my time there, I maintained a 3.75 GPA while competing as a Division I student-athlete in track and field.
