Maranatha (May) Kelly

Hi! My name is May Kelly. My family moved to Elgin from North Fort Worth a few months ago. I have worked in childcare for many years ,most recently for Keller ISD in their early education program, where I worked with infants and toddlers. I am hoping to find part time work as a teacher assistant or substitute in a reputable childcare program in my area. I would love to get to know some of the families in my community! I am First Aid/ CPR/ AED certified and have completed courses in SIDS and Shaken Baby syndrome and child abuse and neglect as well as many continuing education courses in child development. I am knowledgeable of Texas minimum standards for childcare providers. 

I worked for Keller Early Education Program (KEEP) for the last six years. Three years as an infant teacher, two years as an 18-36 month teacher and one as a 2s teacher. I also spent a year and a half as an 18-36 month teacher at a private preschool and before that I was the lead infant teacher for 5 years at a childcare center. 

I went to college for Dental Assisting at Tarrant County College in 2015 and completed the program with my RDA. I also took a college class in Infant and Child Development at Tarrant County College. I also spent a semester at Colorado Christian University after graduating high school.
