Laura Davidson

With a varied background and degrees in different fields, I brought my eternal love of literature and writing to the University of Texas | Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk. I just surpassed my year mark with the College of Education, having worked on the YMCA Cross-Age Tutoring Project. This school year, I will be a Reading & Anxiety Interventionist, working with grades 3 and 4. My passion, however, is working with the collegiate aged population. After earning my undergraduate degree from Texas State, I retuned to San Marcos to advise my sorority, Chi Omega. I could never have imagined how exciting, fulfilling and rewarding developing relationships with these students would be. After eight years as an advisor, and a Masters degree in Creative Writing & Literature, I would be honored to bring that love into the classroom for undergraduates!
