About Malissa Pilette-McClenon:

In my most current I oversaw multiple departments, leading cross-functional teams in developing and executing data-driven digital and traditional marketing and campaigns, focusing on branding to craft storytelling and brand recognition/lift on behalf of my clients. I have extensive experience managing media relations, handling press inquiries, and crafting strategic messaging to enhance public perception and engagement. 

I have a rich background in digital media strategy, engagement, metrics, and optimization having spent six years at a Madison Avenue media buying agency, specializing in governmental media campaigns and measurement. There I was heavily involved with all digital platforms and channels, including social media and oversaw the strategy, set up, creative, content, optimization, and reporting for large governmental initiatives. 

Additionally, to address the gap I identified between campaign strategy and creative imagery and messaging, I formed and led my own department as VP of Creative and Translation services. There I married my digital acumen and creative design background to create effective, compelling messaging and ads to increase campaign performance and recognition.

My ability to develop complex and cohesive narratives and foster relationships with media outlets has resulted in increased visibility and positive coverage for clients. Previously, in past positions, I led high-profile PR initiatives, overseeing crisis communications, media outreach, and content development to shape public discourse and engagement.
