Makayla T

Hi! My name is Makayla Todd and I am a first year Business Administration Major at Cal Poly Slo. I grew up in Sacramento, and I have a passion for sales and marketing. I am looking for a full-time or part-time position starting in June, when I come home for summer break. I have a completely flexible schedule, with no prior commitments. I grew up as an athlete, so I know how important teamwork and communication is. I know I will transfer these skills into my work environment. I used to be a Junior World Waterski Competitor and was ranked 7th in the world. I am also very into health and wellness/fitness and enjoy workout classes such as yoga, and spin. 

During past summers, I helped run my family's waterski school. I was in charge of bookings and coaching beginners. This allowed me to learn customer service and communication skills. I also played a leadership role in helping run and judge water ski tournaments during the summer. 

I recently went through a training program with Fresh Prints Apparel, that was focused on sales and marketing.  

I graduated in 2022 from St. Francis High School, Sacramento, CA and achieved Honor Roll all four years. I am currently attending my first year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as a Business Major, and I am apart of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
