Education
I am an accomplished scientist with extensive expertise in cell and gene therapy, translational immunology, and the development of advanced in vitro models. In my current role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center, I differentiate various immune cell types—including T cells, NK cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages—from iPSCs. I develop and optimize protocols for immune cell production and advanced cellular models like 3D cultures and organoids, leveraging techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and viral vector engineering.
Previously, I worked as a Hematology Scientist at Saeed Pathobiology Lab, where I conducted advanced diagnostic tests for hematologic disorders and ensured high standards of quality compliance. I also served as a Laboratory Manager at the Pasteur Institute of Iran, managing research activities, laboratory operations, and mentoring junior technicians in advanced virology techniques.
My academic background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Cell Sciences with a focus on cell therapy for COVID-19, an M.Sc. in Hematology & Blood Banking, and a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Sciences. I have been recognized for my achievements, including ranking 3rd in the National Ph.D. Entry Exam in Iran and being the top M.Sc. graduate at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.
Overall, my career has been driven by a commitment to advancing innovative therapies and improving patient outcomes through rigorous experimental design, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a deep passion for scientific research.
