Maggie McClanahan

Hi! I'm Maggie. I'm a marketing enthusiast and photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri, focused on making marketing more human. I love to dig into communication questions and answer them from a people-based perspective. From content writing to graphic design to everything in between, I find what makes people tick and then ask the question: why? 

My specialties include quickly picking up new skills, problem solving, and storytelling. I have Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign under my belt. I also have experience with Illustrator but still consider myself an eager student of the program. 

Outside of marketing, I coach Lindbergh High School’s racquetball team, which placed second in the nation at the 2024 USAR National Championship tournament; I have served as the Chairperson to the Junior Board of the Gateway Racquetball Foundation, an organization committed to igniting a passion in youth for playing racquetball in the St. Louis area; and I consider myself a good-music fanatic, avid hiker, and freelance photographer on the weekends. With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service through managing multiple stations, building genuine relationships with guests, and adapting to a fast-paced environment. At PJ's Tavern, I have honed strong interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail.

While I have limited professional experience in marketing, I have actively cultivated a strong foundation in branding and visual communication through my volunteer role as Chairperson of the Gateway Racquetball Foundation as well as my position as the in-house photographer at Mosby Building Arts. I've developed an eagerness to broaden my creative skill set in a professional setting.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Management with an Emphasis of Marketing from Webster University in December 2020. I attained a 3.79 cumulative GPA and secured Cum Laude honors.
