My background as a registered nurse in different medical settings including long-term care, subacute rehabilitation, medical surgery, and operating has offered me a strong nursing foundation to deliver care for individuals and the community with different acute and chronic health problems. I myself found the opportunities are significantly rewarding to as I can provide care to the patients at one of the most vulnerable moments in their lives.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I aim to confidently provide competent and holistic care to individuals and the community. My goal is to deliver optimal patient-centered care. I feel keeping the patients and their families at the center of their healthcare ensures that they are the main focus. Caring is science and art, as an FNP, I’m maintaining this goal in all practice environments. In addition, I believe effective care is promoted by a professional patient-provider relationship and therapeutic collaborative interpersonal care where the goals are mutually set and agreed upon by both sides.

I strongly believe patients need to be the driving force behind their care. The patient’s involvement in care, in collaboration with the best evidence-based practice, can help produce positive health outcomes. Thus, I strive to ensure the patient’s understanding of the current state of their health and educate them fully so they can make health decisions. High quality of care is also a main focus for the care I provide, centering around the idea that I will always treat a person with the goal of enhancing their quality of life and health status.
