Lisa Ramsburg

I am a 53 year old Mother of 3, Grandmother of 1 returning to the workplace after a 15 year hiatus for raising my children. 

As an RN, I performed the duties of Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room. These duties included direct patient contact, safety and security checks, equipment and supply management, intraoperative record keeping via computer, and Sterile Procedures.

As a Retail Manager, I performed tasks such as Customer Service, Inventory Management, Cash handling, Employee Scheduling, Deposit preparation and Loss Prevention.

As an employee of first Bank of America and later Crestar Bank, I performed the duties of a Lobby and Drive through Teller and Platform Customer Service Support as well as operating the dedicated Commercial Banking Teller window.

As a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, I taught more than 1500 people from all walks of life to Scuba Dive. Using an ACE accredited teaching model created by the Professional Association of Dive Instructors students were taught skills ranging from beginner up to Dive Professional. I am passionate about sharing the underwater world with others in hopes of raising awareness of the need to save our oceans.

 I am certified to provide the following: Surgical Assistance in the role of Certified Surgical Technologist, CPR, First Aid, In water Rescue and Resuscitation, Breathing Gas Mixture preparation for different Scuba Diving applications, and many ancillary specialties revolving around Scuba Diving.

My cumulative work experience has revolved around helping others. Wether it be in Retail Sales and Management, Consumer Banking, Nursing, or Teaching Scuba Diving, my passion and talent is providing people with the knowledge, skills and information to successfully navigate their current endeavor. My success in these roles is bolstered by strong communication skills, both verbal and written and an outgoing social personality. My work experiences required me to independently acquire and implement new skills, appropriately assess and address customer needs, and to maintain a vigilant adherance to workplace safety and security protocols.

My hobbies include gourmet cooking, painting, hand crafting jewelry, knitting and bird watching.
