Lisa Nguyen

I was born and raised in New Orleans East, Louisiana. I graduated nursing school in 2019. I have been a registered nurse for 5 years. Before RN, I was an LPN and graduated in 2012. I worked in med/surg for 4 years and I always knew I wanted to be specialized in other specialty. I decided to choose dialysis as my next step to advance my career. I have been doing dialysis for about a year now. I enjoy the new work environment and experience. I am passionate about my job and have empathy towards patients. I'd like to obtain a position as one of the nurses staffed in the desire unit at the hospital and to contribute to the medical unit by utilizing the skills that I have learned through nursing school and personal clinical experience. 

I've been a registered nurse for 5 years. I started out working at UMC for a year and half as a new nurse. Then, I worked at Ochsner's Main Campus for a year. I took one travel assignment in March of 2022. When I completed the travel assignment, I came back home and worked as Ochsner's In house agency. Then, I decided to do Ochsner's float pool because I wanted the opportunities to be able to float to other hospital locations to see the different areas/units. 

After 4 years of med/surg, I knew it was time to move on to another experience. I have been doing dialysis for a year now and I like the new work environment. I'd like this to be my long term job.

I graduated Charity Nursing School in 2019.

I graduated Delgado LPN school in 2012.
