Lisa M. Holmes

 I am  passionate about advocating  being a service to others who need care and support out in the community.  I am compassionate as well experienced and educated in the healthcare field. With 10 years assisting  young adults to elder adults with chronic illness or disabilities that are home bound  or in  assisted living community.   I live in Hilton and have transportation. Currently have free time to offer a  family in need services  as a caregiver or respite. I am very flexible with hours and weekend availability .

I have spent many years as Certified Home Care Aide as  I educated myself to  better  understand  and identify the challenges , barriers and health disparities out the diverse community. Utilizing what I have learned to better serve and support people through educating awareness of preventative measure and  health education . To help  prevent chronic illness and diseases that lead to disabilities  Access to resources and healthcare within their community. 

I have completed SUNY Brockport  College  in May 2021. With a Bachelors in Science and minor in Sociology.

 Monroe Community College in December 2018 Associate in Science Liberal Arts focusing on  Alternate Health and Medicine. Health and Wellness coaching.   Deans list 2015  Spring Semester and 2017  Fall Semester.

 Currently  seeking  employment  that fulfill's  my passion in the health field within a organization that allows the opportunity of acquiring new experience, skills and  growth.  Meanwhile  I am actively involved  community service  and enjoy and love volunteering  as an advocate for residents rights and  quality life, health and care  in nursing homes. Also  spending quality time engaging in  conversations with the residents  assist  finding solutions to any concerns they may have or their loved ones.

 Certified NYS Long Term care  Ombudsmen since 2019 which I visit  for a few hours a week  at  assigned nursing in my community where I live.
