At Wayfair, I have progressed from a Software Engineer (L1) to Software Engineer II (L3), contributing significantly to the company's technological advancements and operational efficiency. Starting in October 2019, I focused on enhancing the functionality of customer-facing tools within the Revenue Management System, leading to substantial reductions in system downtime and improvements in user satisfaction. My ability to debug complex issues and implement effective solutions was instrumental in these achievements.

Elevated to Software Engineer II (L2) in March 2021, I led key initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reduce post-release issues, achieving a notable increase in user satisfaction and supplier trust. My efforts in leading the PHP 8.1 migration project streamlined over 600 files, significantly reducing migration issues and demonstrating my capability in managing complex technical upgrades. I also played a pivotal role in mentoring team members and driving process improvements, fostering a collaborative culture that enhanced overall project success rates.

Since May 2023, in my current role as Software Engineer II (L3), I have led the impactful Display Advertising Invoicing and Revenue Recognition project, automating processes to mitigate financial risks and substantially impact monthly revenue. My work in integrating with external services using Python, GCP, SQL, and Apache Kafka, along with spearheading automation initiatives, has resulted in significant workflow efficiency improvements. My commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality, system stability, and fostering cross-functional collaboration has been key to my success at Wayfair, enabling me to contribute to a 20% increase in successful interdepartmental project implementations.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Western Governors University (WGU), a respected institution known for its competency-based learning approach. This program has provided me with a solid foundation in theoretical and practical aspects of computer science, including algorithms, data structures, software development, and cloud computing. The flexible, project-based learning model at WGU has allowed me to balance my studies with professional commitments, enabling me to apply contemporary, real-world tech solutions directly to my work environment.
