Laynee Smith

Hello my name is Laynee, I have been working in a Daycare & Preschool setting the last 2 years at a Christan center; however, I am looking to expand my opportunities.

As a preschool and daycare teacher, my experience includes fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children, typically aged 2 to 5 years old. I developed and implemented age-appropriate lesson plans, focusing on early childhood development across areas like cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. This involved incorporating play-based learning, hands-on activities, and structured routines that supported both individual and group learning experiences.

My most relevant education as a daycare teacher includes a background in Early Childhood Education (ECE), where I gained knowledge and skills related to child development, learning theories, and instructional strategies tailored to young children. I completed star hours in curriculum development, and behavior management, which helped me understand how to meet the developmental needs of children from diverse backgrounds.
