I've been a caregiver for over 11 yrs off and on. I first started caregiving for my grandpa and from there I went on to work for others in need. I wasn't sure if this was the job for me but however I kept finding my way back to it. I enjoy taking care of people. I've worked in various settings like homes, facilities, rehabilitation center and hospital's. I enjoy my role as a caregiver it gives me a chance to show my love and compassion for what I enjoy doing. As a little girl I always wanted to care for people in some way and as a caregiver it has given me that chance to do so. I'm very strong and compassionate about my work and what I bring to other people's lives. I love helping others and they don't have to be physically in need of help but mental, spiritual or emotionally. I just enjoy listening and being that ear or shoulder for people and trying to do all I can to provide what it is they are needing at that time. My mission is to always strive harder to be my best self to be the best for others. To make a difference is to always treat people with respect and kindness and I do my best to do just that. I must say it's rewarding to be able to have the strength to take on such a roll and being able to remain positive in all that comes with be a caregiver on top of daily life. But, I do it. I often tend to go the extra mile for my clients in caring for them and their needs. Some have said I go too hard but at time I don't feel I go hard enough. But as long as people are happy in what I do then that tells me I'm doing something right. I'm a hard worker in all I do! I'm always ready and on time to do my job. I'm a very positive and encouraging person so I'm always trying to find ways to help or uplift or encourage someone. SKILLS: Cooking, cleaning, prepare meals, laundry, dressing, grooming, bathing and transportation to and from appointment's, groceries store/ect. OTHER SKILLS: Filling, Charting entering files in computer, answering phones, faxing, preparing charts and sending out emails. OTHER SKILLS: Housekeeping. Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuum, dusting, empty trash, window cleaning and more. 

Caregiver: IHSS In-Home-Supportive Services. 09-28-2022 to 12-31-2022 Duties: Cooking, cleaning, laundry, sweeping, mopping, meal Prep, med reminder, bathing, dressing, grooming, transportation to and from appointment's/ groceries store/ ect. 

Solano Family Children Services: 07-01-2022 to 01-18-2023. Duties: Meal Prep, Feeding, Changing, dressing, Story time/ learning.

Cross Country Medical staffing: 02-10-2023 to recent. Taking patient from one department to another one. Identifying patient's i.d. name/ last name and date of birth. Making sure information of picking up and dropping off the patient is the same as the information you receive.
