I am hard working and very determined. I enjoy keeping myself busy and put
extra effort in my tasks. I enjoy working with others and able to work
unsupervised. I have excellent communication skills and telephone techniques. I
am reliable, honest, friendly, cheerful, strive to always keep a positive attitude,
and have the ability to learn quickly. I have a childhood history of helping my
grandfather on his farm when I was 12 years old and continued until he passed in
2010. I have volunteered my time to the Blue Bird Gap Farm in Hampton, VA. I have raised goats, turtles, dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, and other domesticated pets throughout my life.

Volunteer, Blue Bird Gap Farm, Hampton, VA February 2024 - Present
Perform general animal care, and grounds maintenance duties in addition to
feeding and caring for the animals at Bluebird Gap Farm. Feed animals on a
daily basis. Clean animal pen areas and the barn. Answer visitors questions
about the animals. Collect litter from the park. Clean paddock areas. Washes
dishes as needed. Groom animals. Help the staff herd the animals from one area
to another. Pick up trash from the visitors bathrooms. Check the playground area
for cleanliness. Other duties as assigned.
Volunteer, The Hope Project, Youngstown, FL 2016-2019
I volunteered at The Hope Project for three years. Assisted in any area that
needed extra hands on help with moving the farm animals ( Horses, Goats,
Donkeys, etc.) from one area of the farm to another. I helped feed, water, and
clean the horse barn and stalls. I helped keep up the house that was on the
property for the ones wo stayed there for the weekends, or cleaned it for any
meetings. I also, helped with the therapy support at times with kids who had
Autism as a side part of the program. Both of my dogs were certified Service
dogs and were used to help with the program.
Veterinary Asst, Crawford Road Animal Hospital, Phenix City, AL 2012-
2013

Helped the veterinarian doctors and Vet Techs with minor tasks required in the
office. Cleaning kennels, kpt surgical equiptment clean and sterile. Checked in
patients pets. Cleaned the patient rooms. Did the dishes, laundry for the bedding
in crates and surgical towels. Fed and watered the animals that had to stay
overnight or longer after surgeries.
Paws to Relax Boarding and Grooming, Phenix City AL 2011-2012
Cleaned kennels, helped with medications for the pets. Stayed on call for after
hours animal care during their stay. Checked in the customers. Cleaned
grooming areas as needed. Walked pets during their stay. Fed and watered pets
during their stay.

Computer Help Desk Operator/Secretary, Fort Benning, GA 2005-2006
Provided assistance to computer users who are having difficulty with their
computers. Receive, diagnose and solve most user queries by telephone.
Checking email enquiries about computer problems, researching the answers on
the internet and emailing suggested solutions. Answering the phone and listening
to the caller’s description of the problem. Talking the caller through the problem,
asking questions and suggesting solutions, until you solve the problem. Helping
callers who have difficulties with broadband, with their internet server, with
application packages or with other computer equipment such as printers. Solving
common or basic technical difficulties over the phone such as forgotten
passwords. Using automated diagnostic programs to solve network problems.
Arranging for a technician to visit the caller if you cannot solve it over the phone.
Writing up notes on each call on the system, describing the problem and the
solution. a good knowledge of the IT hardware and software being used by
customers
