Services offered
I am a seasoned leader and expert in healthcare simulation and paramedic education, with over a decade of experience elevating academic standards, driving innovation, and championing interdisciplinary collaboration.
The former Program Director for a highly respected paramedic program, where I dedicated over 17 years to shaping high-quality patient care outcomes through rigorous, community-aligned education. I later transitioned into a pivotal role as Director of Operations at an Interdisciplinary Simulation Center with two campuses, where I continued to mentor, consult, and lead initiatives that enhance curriculum through immersive, simulation-based learning.
I bring deep expertise in instructional design, simulation technologies, and team dynamics. I ensure that the technical and educational aspects of simulation are aligned with best practices and accreditation standards. I am known for her integrity, passion for ethical and psychologically safe training environments, and ability to bridge the gap between clinical practice and educational innovation.
Now seeking my next leadership opportunity—whether in higher education, hospital systems, corporate training, or consulting—I am open to remote, hybrid, or in-person roles and bring with me a commanding presence, a collaborative spirit, and a vision for the future of healthcare education.
Experience
I am an accomplished healthcare education leader with over a decade of experience in paramedic education and simulation-based training. As the Program Director and Department Chair for EMS at Pikes Peak State College for ten years, I elevated educational standards, mentored faculty, and ensured high-quality patient care outcomes aligned with community needs.
As the Director of Operations at the Interdisciplinary Simulation Center, I continued to lead simulation integration across health sciences programs, develop curriculum-enhancing simulation experiences, and guide the center toward national accreditation through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
I am a passionate advocate for psychological safety, ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration in simulation. My expertise spans simulation operations, instructional design, technical systems, and faculty development, and I continue to support EMS education locally, nationally, and internationally.
