Kevin Zhang

BS in Health Information Management with 3.92 GPA, currently scheduled to take Registered Health Information Administrator Exam. I have internship experience working with NextGen and Epic EHR at a TJC-accredited federally qualified health center, and am eager to contribute in a role as a HIM professional or EHR analyst.

Recently, I was an EHR/IT Applications Trainer intern where I worked with Epic support analysts, health informatics, EHR trainers and clinical quality. I shadowed trainers providing support to end users, assisted with professionals from different administration departments, tested clinical workflows in an Epic training environment, and verified data accuracy and transfer by navigating NextGen EHR. 

My previous work experience includes being an activities assistant and certified nurse assistant at a skilled nursing facility, volunteer experience in Cambodia, and volunteer experience at UC Davis Medical Center in the trauma nursing unit. 

BS in Health Information Management with a 3.92 GPA at Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently scheduled to take the Registered Health Information Administrator exam.

I have completed 121 units from a BS in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences from California State University, Sacramento but did not graduate.
