I am a Masters in Supply Chain Management student at Purdue University. I will be graduating in December 2023. I am looking for entry level roles in the field of Supply Chain, particularly Procurement. I have experience starting my own entrepreneurial venture, which was a distributorship for batteries and inverters in the outskirts of Mumbai. I was also a Procurement Intern at Hitachi Astemo for the summer, where i supported category buyers in issuing RFQ's and conducting cost break down analysis to ensure fairness of quotes. Lastly, i have taken up multiple leadership roles in social service organizations to create a profound impact in the community. I am sure my experiences will help me contribute to your organization and my action-oriented mindset will further help me excel.

During my Procurement Internship at Hitachi Astemo Ltd. in Greenfield, IN, from May to August 2023, I played a vital role in supporting site category buyers by issuing over 30 RFQs, updating information for 150+ suppliers, and efficiently processing orders. My responsibilities extended to conducting cost breakdown analyses, streamlining inbound processes through automation, and implementing solutions to prevent plant shutdowns. I successfully improved gearbox packaging, resulting in a 15% increase in delivery quantity and negotiated replacements for damaged parts. Subsequently, as a Partner at Keshav Enterprises in Palghar, Maharashtra, from June 2020 to August 2022, I spearheaded the establishment of a distributorship for batteries and inverters in the outskirts of Mumbai. Leveraging analytical tools, I executed purchase contracts based on demand planning, inventory management, and credit period analysis. Through strategic SOPs and route optimization, I reduced transportation costs by 20%, establishing the business as one of the largest distributors in Palghar. Additionally, as a Supply Chain Intern at Viraj Profiles Ltd. in Mumbai, Maharashtra, from December 2018 to January 2019, I sourced raw materials from vendors across India, analyzed supplier performance, and created KPI dashboards referred to by senior management, contributing to the company's status as one of the largest exporters of steel products globally.

I pursued a Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management at Purdue University, Daniels School of Management (STEM), achieving a GPA of 3.69/4.0 from August 2022 to December 2023. The program covered key areas such as Operations Management, Project Management, Manufacturing Planning and Control, and Logistics Management. Prior to this, I earned a Master of Commerce in Business Management from the University of Mumbai, achieving an impressive 86.5% from June 2020 to June 2022. Additionally, I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from NMIMS University, Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, with a GPA of 3.54/4.0, making the Dean's list from July 2017 to May 2020.
