As a phlebotomist, I applied my excellent communication skills for patients to be comfortable and reassured them by answering any questions. Prior to lab draw I would identify patients accurately by using reliable available resources to ensure correct blood draw. When necessary, I am able to determine the appropriate method of venipuncture based on patient age, weight, and overall health; Prepared specimens for transportation to lab by accurately labeling vials also appropriately completing laboratory forms &/or lab orders on digital monitors and adhering to anti- contamination protocols.

During my employment as a MP, I would often travel outside of the clinic / hospital to obtain blood samples and or donations for blood drives and other events.
