I have been in finance and medical field for a while now. For about 6 years now one of  my biggest strength is Customer Service I love helping people. I have experience in  Epic" usually refers to Epic Systems, the dominant electronic health record (EHR) software used by major hospitals and health systems worldwide to manage patient data, billing, and care coordination. It enables, via MyChart, patient access to records, appointments, and, in some cases, vide.

 • Patient Registration: Greet patients and families, quickly collect demographic, clinical (reason for visit), and financial information, and create patient accounts

. • Insurance & Financial: Verify insurance eligibility, explain financial responsibilities (co-pays, deductibles), collect payments, and obtain signatures for consent.

 • Patient Safety: Place correct patient identification armbands and ensure accurate information is entered for patient safety.

 • Communication: Answer phones, direct calls, update clinical staff on patient status, and answer patient/ family questions with empathy. • Administrative Tasks: Manage work queues, prepare discharge paperwork, process orders, and perform general clerical duties.
