Katie Stevens

With a BS in Environmental Pre-Law from Virginia Commonwealth University and a GIS Certificate, I aim to meld legal insight with technological acumen to advocate for the environment effectively. The competencies gained in my field experience were instrumental in these successes. 

At the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research, we contributed to dolphin conservation through meticulous photo identification and database management. The symbiosis of our field studies and first mate responsibilities on dolphin watch vessels enhanced our research and operational capacities, solidifying a deep commitment to preserving marine life. Our team at American Conservation Experience excelled in habitat restoration and invasive species removal, fostering vibrant ecosystems in national parks.

After obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Pre-Law, I have continued my education with professional certificates in Geographic Information Systems and Laboratory Sciences.
